जयललिता की मजबूत होती दावेदारी


भारत के प्रधानमंत्री के  लिए सच्ची रेस आज (मंगलवार को) शुरू हुई है। अब तक प्रचार माध्यमोने ऐसा चित्र बना कर रखा है कि ईस बार का चुनाव मानो जैसे विभिन्न पक्ष के बीच नहीं, व्यक्ति के बीच में ही लडा जायेगा। जैसे  मोदी, राहुल गांधी और अरविंद केजरीवाल में से कोई एक ही प्रधान मंत्री बननेवाला हो। इस में हालांकि थोडी सी सच्चाई भी है क्योंकि मोदी सब से बडे विपक्ष भाजप और उसके मोरचे 'राजग' यानि की राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन का नेतृत्व कर रहे है तो दूसरी और राहुल गांधी भी काॅग्रेस गठबंधन - 'संप्रग' यानि संयुक्त प्रगतिवादी गठबंधन का नेतृत्व करते दिख रहे है। लेकिन केजरीवाल का हौवा तो मिडियाने ही बनाया है। लेकिन और लोगों को कम दावेदार नहीं समजना चाहिए।
 जयललिताने मध्यम और गरीब वर्ग रिजे ऐसे वादे किए है। देखा जाये तो ईस बार की मुद्दत्त (टर्म) में जयाम्मा का शासन अच्छा और कम विवादास्पद रहा है। आयकर की मर्यादा सिर्फ दो लाख ही हो और पेट्रोल- डीजल के दाम तेल कंपनीयां बिना रोकटोक बढाते ही रहे ये दोनो तरफ से मध्यम वर्ग और गरीब वर्ग पर भयंकर मार है जो ये ये दोनो वर्ग पीछले दस साल से झेल रहै है (2009 का चुनाव ही काॅग्रेस इस वादे के साथ जीती कि उनकी सरकार 100 दिन में महंगाई खतम कर देगी। 100 दिन तो क्या 365 x 5 = 1725 दिन में कम करने की तो दूर, उलटा और बढा दी।)
 लेकिन बेचारे मध्यम वर्ग की सूने कौन। कई सालों तक मध्यम वर्ग के माने जानेवाले पक्ष भाजप को पीछले कुछ सालों से धनिक और गरीब ये दो वर्ग ही दिख रहे है। वैसे ये दोनो ही वर्ग उतने प्रतिबद्ध मतदाता वर्ग नहीं, जितना कि मध्यम वर्ग। हां एक बात ये भी है कि मध्यम वर्ग मतदान में कभी कभी उदासीन हो जाता है और ईसकी वजह यह भी है कि उसकी जायज जरुरतों को लंबे समय तक नजरअंदाज किया जा रहा है।
इस चुनाव में अब तक एसा ही माहोल था। काॅग्रेस, भाजप गरीब की ही बात कर रहे है। हालांकि गरीब को लेकर या मध्यम वर्ग को लेकर दोनों की नीतियां काफी हद तक समान है। गरीबी की व्याख्या को लेकर भी समान। उलटा मोदी सरकार ने तो 11 रू कमानेवाले को गरीब गिनने से मना कर दिया।
एसे में जयललिताने आज जो चुनाव घोषनापत्र जारी किया वो मध्यम वर्ग के लिए लुभावना है। आयकर मर्यादा अगर पांच लाख हो जाये और पेट्रोल-डीजल के निरंकुश दामों पर रोक लग जाये तो महंगाई काफी हद तक नियंत्रित हो सकती है।
मोदी के लिए रामदेव बाबाने ये अवसर दिया था। बाबाने तो अपनी मांगे रखते समय यहां तक कह डाला था कि आयकर ही समाप्त कर दिया जाये। बाबाने कहा कि जो पक्ष उनकी शर्त मानेंगे उनको ही वे समर्थन देंगे। उस समय मोदीने गोलमोल जवाब दे दिया। अगर उस वक्त उन्होने आयकर मर्यादा बढाने की बात भी होती तो भी वो मैदान मार लेते। लेकिन अफसोस! ये बाजी जयललिता के नाम रही। यहां तक दिल्ली में सिर्फ 28 बैठके जीतकर मुख्यमंत्री बनकर सत्ता का स्वाद चख चूके और अब जिनके मनमें दिल्ली की ही तर्ज पर प्रधानमंत्री बनने की लालसा जग चूकी है एसे केजरीवाल को भी यह बात नहीं सूजी। सूजे भी कैसे। उन्हें तो एसे ही मुद्दो में रस है जिसमें मिडिया और लोगों का ध्यान ज्यादा से ज्यादा बटोरा जा सके। उन्हे कुदरती गेस की चिंता है लेकिन पेट्रोल-डीजल के लगातार बढतें दामों की बिलकुल परवा नहीं। आज तक इस विषय में मैंने उनका या उनके पक्ष का कोई निवेदन नहीं देखा।अगर एसा करते तो वे और भी जनप्रिय हो जातें।

अगर गब्बरसिंह आम आदमी पार्टी से चुनाव लडे तो?


अगर गब्बरसिंह आम आदमी पार्टी से चुनाव लडता (हॅसो मत, 'आप' से चुनाव लडनेवाला कोई डाकु, चोर या लुटेरा नहीं) तो कहता: वीरु और जय चोर है। मैं तो प्रमाणिकता से कुछ आटा मागता हूं तो क्या ये मेरा गुनाह है? मैं तो छोटा आदमी हूं जी। मेरी औकात क्या है। मैं तो ऐक ही तरह के कपडे पहनता हूं, खैनी खाता हूं, मेरा तो ठाकुर जैसा बडा घर नहीं, पहाड पे रहता हूं। बच्चो को मेरे नाम से नींद भी आ जाती है,  फिर भी सरकार ने मुजे पकडने के लिए 50 हजार का ईनाम रखा है। और जय और वीरु खुले घूम रहे है। मैं गांव लूटुं तो संविधान के खिलाफ और जय-वीरु चोरीचकारी करे तो संविधान के मुताबिक? संविधान तो मैंने भी पढा है जी।
आप को सलामती सिर्फ एक ही आदमी दे सकता है। खुद गब्बर।
देखो, पहले ठाकुर ने वीरु और जय को पकडा था (शोले का प्रारंभिक द्रृश्य) लेकिन मैं आ गया तो कैसे तीनो मिल गए। बहोत याराना लगता है। सब बेईमान है, चोर है, हाक थूं।

Will Arvind Kejriwal meet same fate like VP Singh?

Arvind Kejriwal and late prime minister VP Singh have many things common.

(1) VP Singh was in Congress and was quite close to Rajiv Gandhi while Arvind Kejriwal is cloae to Sonia Gandhi.

(2) VP Singh resigned from Rajiv cabinet on name of Bofors scam. And fought loksabha election on name of bringing Rajiv and Amitabh to justice. Arvind Kejriwal fought Delhi election on name of Sheila Dixit to send her in jail.

(3) However after election VP Sinfh's party Janata Dal formed government with support of BJP and Left parties. Arvind Kejriwal formed govt on support of Congress.

(4) After winning election VP Singh too deviated from issue of corruption and diverted whole nation to mandal (reservation) issue. Nation was wholely polarised and some youths immolated themselves also. Arvind Kejriwal also did dharna against police and Union Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and diverted attention.

(5) VP Singh virtually did nothing in Bofors case. Arvind Kejriwal however talked too much in press conference, but not named Sheila Dixit in CWG street light scam. He again created controversy by ordering FIR against Veerappa Moily, Murli Deora and Mukesh Ambani, but did it smartly because it may not come under his ambit and ultimately quashed in court.

(6) VP Singh government fell down after BJP withdrew support. Here Kejriwal resigned himself as he failed to move JanLokpal bill in Delhi assembly.

(7) Narmada Bachao Andolan fame Medha Patkar is also common factor between V P Singh and Arvind Kejriwal. Medha ended her protest by accepting lime juice offered by V P Singh at Jantar Mantar in 2006. Medha Patkar also joined Anna Hazare's anti corruption movement in 2011. Medha has also supported Kejriwal's AAP and is believed that she would fight loksabha elections also.

(8) VP Singh govt and Janata Dal was full of contradictions. There were too much differences between the ministers and party members. VP Singh faced quite rough weather due to deputy prime minister Devi Lal. Arvind Kejriwal also faced rough weather due to his favourite minister Somnath Bharti. Also there are so much differences between members. Captain Gopinath was against Kejriwal's dharna. Kumar Biswas was praising Narendra Modi which was opposed by Mallika Sarabhai. Prashant Bhushan's advocacy of taking referendum had to be denounced by Arvind Kejriwal.

(9) One more similarity. Predecessor of V P Singh, Rajiv Gandhi was heavily guarded whereas V P Singh visited Golden Temple, Amritsar in open jeep. It was widely appreciated. Arvind Kejriwal too shunned security (however at auto risksha drivers conventions which was his last programme, and other programmes before he resigned, he was seen with guards and Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said, Kejriwal is provided security).

After VP Singh govt fell down, VP Singh never become prime minister again. It would be interesting to see whether Arvind Kejiwal meet same fate.

Did Sonia also not want Pranab Mukherjee to become president?

Narendra Modi has smartly put his hand on paining spot of Congress. He said yesterday in Kolkata rally that it was Gandhi family which didn't make Pranab Mukherjee prime minister, not only once but twice. He elaborated when Indira Gandhi, then prime minister was murdered in 1984, Pranab Mukherjee was not only senior person but also experienced and very deserving person to become prime minister. But he was not made PM. Not only that, Rajiv Gandhi even didn't inducted him in his cabinet.
In 2004, Sonia Gandhi was set to become PM as leader of biggest party but there was much opposition so she gave up and later it was publicized as her sacrifice. At that time too, Pranab Mukherjee was senior most leader in Congress. But instead of him, Sonia chose Mr. 'Yes, Madam' Manmohan Singh. Narendra Modi's raising of issue has significance, because Modi has been often blamed for sidetracking his mentor 'Guru' L.K.Advani (which is not true as Advani got two time chance to lead BJP in general elections and failed.). Modi said this in West Bengal.
Modi forgot to add in his point one thing and that is Pranab Mukherjee was also not first choice of Sonia Gandhi for president candidate.
Actually, for presidency, Pranab Mukherjee was highly willing and his name was almost unanimous within all parties, but Sonia Gandhi wanted then vice president Hamid Ansari to become president. But, at that time, it is said that Pranab Mukherjee played smart games through Mamata Banerjee and Mulayam Singh. As it is known, Mamata and Mulayam together supported A.P.J.Abdul Kalam for president post. And BJP, JDU and other opposition parties were ready to support Kalam. So, Kalam could have won easily against Ansari.
Now, it was obvious that Sonia would not prefer Kalam to become president, because in 2004, it is rumoured that Kalam didn't prefer Sonia to become prime minister. However, it was denied lately, but one thing was sure. Kalam would not behave like stamp president. Instead of him, Sonia might have thought that, Pranabda could be better choice. In this circumstances, Congress decided to field Pranabda and all know well that, after Pranabda's name was announced Mulayam took U turn and backtracked on supporting Kalam. Mamata was left alone. But it seemed to be part of Pranabda's strategy. Thus, Pranab Mukherjee became President and for sake of competence, BJP fielded P.A.Sangma to be defeated.

Khichadi : Tasty And Healthy diet


I love Khichadi. I have gotten this Khichadi love in inheritance from my father Shree Gajendrabhai Pandya.There are so many varieties of Khichadi. I love green gram or mung daal Khichadi, tuver daal (pigeon pea) Khichadi and yellow split gram or mung daal Khichadi. Like my grand mother (dadi, whom we called 'Mota Baa') and my wife, many believe that khichadi should not be made on auspicious days like Diwali, but I love to eat Khichadi every night. Why? Because, I believe that it is not just tasty but healthy diet also.And even babies are also given Khichadi probably as first food. Reason is that it is so easy to digest, it also heals and soothes the intestinal wall.

In making of Khichadi, the rice has to be cooked with a legume. Traditionally, that legume is green gram (mung daal), pigeon pea or split yellow gram (mung dal). These are the only legumes that are classified as 'vata balancing' in Ayurveda. This means that, unlike every other type of beans or lentils, they will not produce any intestinal gas.

Split yellow mung beans also have their husk naturally removed. When they are split, the husk, which is very hard to digest and gas producing, naturally falls off. This process naturally renders them much easier to cook, digest, and assimilate.

The combination of rice and beans has been a staple around the world for 10,000 years, and for good reason. You have probably heard the term “complete protein,” but let’s take a minute to really understand what that means.

There are 20 amino acids that combine with one another to make the proteins the body needs. 10 of them, the body can synthesize on its own. The other 10, called essential amino acids, the body does not make, meaning we must get it from our foods. Animal proteins are 'complete' in that they contain all ten essential amino acids, but plant foods need to be combined to make a 'complete protein'.

Rice, like most grains, is very low in the amino acid lysine. As a result, if you live on grains alone, you will likely become protein deficient. Legumes and lentils, on the other hand, have lots of lysine, but they are generally low in methionine, tryptophan and cystine. Fortunately, grains are high in these three amino acids.

So the marriage of rice and beans, as found in Khichadi, has been providing the 10 essential amino acids and making complete proteins for cultures around the world for thousands of years. For cultures that have subsisted on a plant-based diet, this marriage is often what allows their diet to be nutritionally sustainable.

With 95 percent of the body’s serotonin produced in the gut, it is clear we process our stress through the intestinal wall. Chronic stress will irritate the intestinal wall and compromise digestion, the ability to detoxify through the gut, and cope with stress. During a Khichadi cleanse, the digestive system can heal. Eating just Khichadi as a “mono diet” allows much of the digestion to be at rest during the cleanse, providing the nutrition needed to heal the gut and nourish the body.

The state of fat metabolism facilitates a deep inner calm, so, it is also considered as Satvik Ahar (sentient food or diet) and for this reason, Khichadi was also fed to monks and ascetics to help create a sense of stillness in which we gain greater access to old toxic emotional and behavior patterns. This is also why Khichadi is the food of choice of Panchakarma, Ayurveda’s deepest detox retreat.

Ingredient: 
500 grams/17.6 oz rice
400 grams/14 oz moong dal or split green gram
2 tablespoons turmeric powder
1 teaspoon asafoetida
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons ghee
500 ml/17 fl oz water
1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Method:
Step 1. Cleaning the Rice and Split Pea Gram
Pour the rice into a large mixing bowl.
Add the split green gram to the rice.
Clean and wash the mixture of rice and green gram under running water.

Step 2. Frying with Ghee/Oil
Add ghee/oil to the base of a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds. Cook over low heat until they splutter.
Sprinkle asafoetida powder over the seeds. Mix well.
Add turmeric powder and mix.
Remove the water from the rice and green gram.
Add the washed rice and green gram to the pressure cooker.
Mix well with the spatula. Fry for a few minutes till the ghee covers the rice and green gram.
Add water. The level should be above the mixture of rice and green gram.

Step 3. Pressure Cooking
Cover the lid of the pressure cooker. Cook under pressure till there are two whistles (approximately six minutes of cooking under pressure).
Turn off the heat source. Let the pressure settle down.
Open the lid of the pressure cooker. Check whether the rice grains and green gram pulses are cooked enough.
Add more water to get a thick consistency without separating the grains. Cook for a few minutes more
Add salt and mix well.
Serve with curds or pickle. Add ghee before serving.

Paisa memories!


Yesterday I show just two scenes of Sahib (however I had seen it full). In film, bhabhi says to dever sahib (Anil Kapoor): ye lo meri chappal. Sila ke aao. Ye lo 50 paisa. 10 ya 20 paisa lagega. Aur ha baki ke paise lete aana.
Two things from this:
(1) People prefered to use chappal by repairing it or they didn't have capacity to purchase new chappal.
(2) Chappal was repairable in just 10 or 20 paisa! Aaj to 50 paisa sirf petrol ke daamo mein hi dikhne ko milta hai!

How to show off you are busy person on social media or smart phone?


-Check up whats app messages as and when they come but don't reply or send any messages. Senders will understand you are very busy person.
- Read your text messages but don't reply or call back to convey that you have received messages.
-Tell every body that you got so much whats app messages, facebook tags, text messages, e-mails that you delete them at once without reading them.
- Read all your facebook friends posts but don't click on like any post. Even don't comment. Copy your favourite post and rewrite it as if it is your creation.
-Read every blog posts (like you are reading this one :-) ) which is your favourite (as you are reading now) but don't click on likr and don't comment on it. (I am sure you will follow this suggestion for this post)
-But yes, when you are with real people (meeting or with friends or relatives) read every whats app messages, text messages and then show off them ho w much busy you are!

- Put your status update every minute telling about your busy schedule!

- Write a post that you are so busy person that there is so much waiting for your appointment.

-Even if you are playing subway surfer, candy crush saga or teen patti, put status message that there is so much work for you and you are very tired!
