Hamid Ansari: Thy name is controversy

Hamid Ansari defamed nation while ending his term as vice president by saying that muslims in Bharat feeling sense of insecurity. His qualification which made him Vice President was that he was Sonia Gandhi's favourite. If Sonia Gandhi's wish could be fullfilled, his statement about muslims insecurity in this country could be as president. Yes, he was first choice of Sonia Gandhi as president candidate. But it was Pranav Mukherjee, then finance minister who played brilliant game. He made Mulayam Singh Yadav to lobby for APJ Abdul Kalam. On this, Mamata Banerjee also came forward in suppprt of Kalam. BJP which made Dr. Kalam president in year 2002 would also have supported Kalam again.

This made Sonia rethink on making Hamid Ansari as president candidate as it would have brought embarassing defeat for UPA. This brough Pranavda in picture. Pranavda convinced Sonia that he would be able to bring majority parties support in his favour. And Pranavda had and has good acceptance acrooss all parties. He won president election. And it was good fortune of our country that she didnt get such communal and biased person as president.

In December 2011 on last day of rajya sabha session, Anna Hazare's agitation had forced to bring and pass lokpal bill but Congress was not willing to pass it. Atleast not at that time. Rajdeep Sardesai headed CNNIBN broke news that Congress had plan. Under this plan, Congress's ally RJD's mp Rajneeti Prasad stood up and as per fixing, he tore bill around mid night. Congress started disruption.  Opposition leader Arun Jaitley requested to extend session as they were ready to sit all night for lokpal. President Pratibha Patil was kept in loop for continuation of session and Times Now channel had president's office SMS confirming this. President was also agree to let continue session post mid night. But Hamid Ansari played as puppet of Sonia Gandhi's puppet UPA govt. He adjourned session sine die. The day 30th December 2011 was registered as major black spot in Bharatiya democracy's history, specially in history of vice president who is also Rajya Sabha chairman.

It didn't stop there. Hamid Ansari is known for his gross communal stand. He (and Sonia-Rahul Gandhi also) used to remain absent in Yod day events. Not only that, he didnt allow yog day event to be telecasted on RSTv i.e. Rajya Sabha tv channel run on public tax money.

He was also not seen saluting on republic day when national anthem was being played on flag hoisting. 

When will it be a really happy republic day?

Republic = a state where supreme power held by people and their elected representative.

Until we get aware and implement our duties it will not be real republic day in true sense. Generally we blame that government doesn't work. Government employees keep delayed working. But it is in most of people's blood. I have observed that employees in  private companies, even in NGOs,  too have same habit. Many of us spit every where. We dump waste everywhere. We keep our homes clean but don't care for our society and road. We don't care for cleanness in bus or railway coach.

We don't follow traffic rules. We have not habit of standing in queue voluntarily. We keep shouting.

We have not habit of putting phone on vibrant or silence mode at funeral or prayer meeting, or in theater or in office meeting.

We love to spend hours after fixed cricket match or entertaining IPL matches even in office and put our work on hold. If there is holiday falling before or after Saturday-Sunday, we make it mini vacation.

We have very single and selective approach in fighting issues. We don't fight collectively. Suppose in bank or in post office if there is really an issue and someone is fighting, others will oppose him as their work is getting  delayed.

We think that everything is other's duty. Municipality, police, government, teacher, professor, etc. Even in housing society we leave everything on society body members i.e. secretary or other committee members. Few days back there were news that after Anandiben Patel, CM of Gujarat left, teachers made students cleaned utensils. What is wrong in it? Is school not of students? This mindset is not only wrong but is harmful for society. Particularly if journalist or editor has this type of mindset is very dangerous.

We only think about our right but don't want to fulfill our duty with integrity and dedication. Employer also wants to exploit worker with very law salary and employee thinks I should work as much as I get salary. So ultimately production suffers.

Due to thousand years slavery, our mindset has been made that everything of ours is bad. Be it tradition, be it language, be it cloths. We only see our country in negative shed which is something true also but we must strive to make it better and better.

So spread this message of creating civic sense, sense of responsibility that this country is not only of government, this country is of us, the people of Bharat. Our patriotism should not be limited to changing dp of Whatapp or profile picture of facebook. Our patriotism should not be limited to just saluting tricolour flag. We must feel proud of everything that our country has. River, tree, mountains, diverse culture, languages, dialects, traditions, cloths, etc. It is said that real character can be estimated only at times of casualty or calamity.

Our heroes must be those who contribute good for nation, who are having good character.
