Selective justice and selective news publishing

Sometimes I feel that in our country Bharat, there has been selective justice and selective news publishing (and broadcasting). Today 29 years have been passed to anti sikh riots, but in its cases, only dates are given for further hearing. No media trial is run against it. It is not case with Gujarat riots. One should know that Gujarat riots were happened after Godhra carnage happened in which 58 innocent 'karsewaks' including 25 women and 15 children were burnt to death in a fire inside Sabarmati express train. And second point is, in riots post Godhra episode, it is not that only one religion people were targeted and killed. But general impression created through media and court is that there has been unprecedented riots and encounters in Gujarat.

Second example is of match fixing. There have been 13 years passed to original match fixing in which Hansie Cronje and Mohammad Azharuddin were reported to be involved. Now chargesheet will be filed! (But media doesn't take notice of this news as they should.) At present Azhar is congress M.P.. And now take this IPL spot fixing in which Srisanth, Sakshi Dhoni (wife of captain of India team, Mahendra Sinh Dhoni), Vindu Dara Singh, Raj Kundra, Srinivasan, ex chairman, BCCI, his son in law Mayappan, Dawood. BCCI declared Srinivasan, Raj Kundra and Mayappan innocent!

In other case, CBI gave clean chit to ex railway minister Pawan Bansal and made him witness against his nephew!

In 2-G case, A. Raja and Kanimozhi are freed on bail! They are even participating in parliament procedures!

Recently Supreme court allowed absconding JMM MLA Nalin Soren, who is facing non-bailable warrant in connection with the Rs 26 crore seed scam,to participate in vote on confidence motion in Jharkhand Assembly. It is known fact that in Jharkhand, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress have formed new government and Hemant Soren of J.M.M. was seeking vote of confidence.

Recently there was war of words between ex chief justice of supreme court Altamas Kabir and present chief justice of supreme court Sathasivam. There has been also leveling of accusations between Altamas Kabir and present chief justice of Gujarat High court, Bhaskar Bhattacharya. ((1) http://www.indianexpress.com/news/excji-altamas-kabir-to-gujarat-cj-collegium-decided-not-to-elevate-you-to-sc/1145800/ (2) http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/cji-altamas-kabir-p.-sathasivam-kabir-seeks-apology-from-sathasivam/1/296560.html) Seeing this, it can be inferred that all is not well at highest level in judiciary from where we expect to get justice.
